What we offer.

We are only just beginning and have little to offer to everyone, but we do have a little to offer to anyone. Our Mother's Embrace is located on 200+ acres of West Virginia wild lands. We have fields and forest, 2 creeks and mountain trails. At this time, we are 100% rustic, but we do have plans to build public rest rooms and shower facilities as well as pavilions, stages, and cabins. We have plenty of space available for camping, hiking, fishing, or just hanging out. The venue is also available for rent, but, like I said, we don't have a lot to offer except space... yet!

 

There are also plans in the works for hosting workshops at gatherings to teach lost skills like butter churning, blacksmithing, and root cellaring. Skills that are making a comeback in these modern times like strawbale house construction, carbon footprint minimizing, and aquaponics. And skills that are more closely related to homesteading like solar power, animal husbandry, and Hügelkultur gardening.

 

With some of the friends I have made, I would also like to eventually be able to host bushcraft gatherings.

I would love to eventually host a regional burn the first weekend in September called "Toylsdun Burn." This will take much more on the logistical side than I can commit to at this time.

We are all inclusive and welcoming of everyone (active criminal elements not included). We are open-minded and accepting. If you have a pagan event and need sacred space, please reach out. We definitely have the space for that.

We will have, season and nature permitting, various garden, livestock, and crafted items for sale. Check the list. It won't always be 100% accurate, but it will give you an idea of what could be available.
